Kaissieh Earns Scholarship

Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan summer destinations for three students awarded U.S. State Department Critical Language Scholarships

Strengthening their foreign language skills will be on the top of three Lawrence University students’ to-do lists this summer thanks to the U.S. Department of State. Senior Mikaela Marget and juniors Jonathan Rubin and Heidi Arnold each have been awarded a Critical Language Scholarship for an intensive overseas language and cultural immersion program.

Three UAB students win Critical Language Scholarships

Lillian Chien, a 2018 UAB graduate who earned bachelor's degrees in neuroscience and international studies, Ayla McCay, a sophomore majoring in international studies, and Kaitlin McLeod, a junior neuroscience major, have been selected for the U.S. Department of State’s Critical Language Scholarship program.
