Hello from the CLS Program!

Thank you to everyone who completed our Advisor Engagement Survey. We received over 200 responses and are looking forward to implementing your suggestions in the months ahead. One piece of feedback we received was an interest in onboarding sessions for new advisors and more advisor-specific webinars overall. We took your feedback to heart and are pleased to announce our first New Advisor Webinar on April 26 at 3:30 PM Eastern. Please register in advance.

Attendees will hear from Caitlin Ting, the CLS Assistant Manager, Outreach and Selection as well as Kaveri Advani, Program Officer for the CLS Program from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Together they will provide an overview of the CLS Program and the CLS advisor role for those getting acquainted with CLS or for anyone who would benefit from a refresher. Advisors will also hear from a current CLS Alumni Ambassador and an experienced CLS advisor as well as meet fellow advisors across institutions.

All advisors are welcome to attend and given the addition of CLS Spark to our program offerings, even seasoned advisors could benefit from this webinar. A recording will also be made available to those unable to attend live.

Thank you for serving as a CLS advisor and for your support of the CLS Program.

We look forward to collaborating with you in the months ahead and hope to see you on the 26th!

Warm regards,
Rori DiFiore
