Dear Advisor,

We hope that your semester has wrapped up smoothly and you are doing well! The CLS Program is excited to be attending the NAFSA conference in New Orleans. We look forward to seeing some of you over the next few days and hope to connect with you at a coffee break, during a lunch gathering, or at a session.

We’d like to extend an invitation for you to visit the CLS Program’s poster, Embrace Discomfort: Messaging for Resilience in Education Abroad at the Poster Fair Area, Table 109.

Becca AbuRakia-Einhorn (Director, CLS Program) and Samantha Jordan (Outreach Officer, U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs) will be at the poster on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM presenting on strategies for education abroad professionals to help students embrace a growth mindset and develop resiliency on program. We welcome the chance to share more about the ways the CLS Program prepares our scholars and answer any questions you may have on CLS.

We hope you stop by our poster on Thursday to connect!

If you can't make it to the poster session on Thursday, Becca is the Education Abroad Knowledge Community Chair-Elect and can be found for most of the conference in the Education Abroad Community Center in NOCC 291. You are welcome to book a meeting with Becca on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the conference or to email Becca directly to set up a time to meet with her: becca.ae@americancouncils.org

Sincerely,
Caitlin
