Hello from the CLS Program!

As the new school year approaches, we’re excited to gear up for the next cycle!

We invite all newcomers to join us for the New Advisor Webinar on August 14 at 3:00 PM. In this session, I’ll provide an overview of the CLS Program and the CLS advisor role, especially for those who were new to the program and couldn’t attend the New Advisor Workshop hosted by NAFA last week. (Please note that program updates will not be given in this webinar – we’ll share those details in a few weeks!)

We’re also thrilled to have Steve Gump, Associate Director of Fellowships in the Office of Citizen Scholar Development at the University of Virginia, joining us. Steve will share his top tips for recruiting and advising applicants, as well as help me in answering audience questions.

Registration is available now at: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYkd-mprDMuHNVv1KcPpDTY6FUvuxq7A3RA. A recording will be made available to those unable to attend.

Thank you for serving as a CLS advisor and for your support of the CLS Program.

We look forward to collaborating with you in the months ahead and hope to see you on the 14th!

Sincerely,
Caitlin Ting
