Dear CLS Advisor,

We are now seeking volunteers to serve as evaluators for the 2024 CLS Program. If you are interested in contributing your time to read and assess applications, please take a moment to fill out our reader interest form by Sunday, November 5: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MXWJR2R.

Serving as an evaluator offers a valuable opportunity to gain insight into the selection criteria for this program. While this role is voluntary and does not come with an honorarium, past evaluators consistently report that participating in the selection process has provided them with a clearer understanding of the program's objectives. It also has equipped them with the knowledge to better guide their students through the CLS Program’s application process.

In keeping with our tradition, we aim to expand the pool of CLS advisors involved in the selection process. Doing so not only enriches the knowledge base of our CLS advisor community but also lightens the overall workload. (The more people involved, the better we can distribute the applications!) We encourage you to share this opportunity with colleagues in your office, such as graduate students or faculty fellows, or individuals on your campus whom you believe may be interested.

If this opportunity interests you, please complete the linked form by November 5. Additional details about the process, including the expected time commitment, can be found in the form: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MXWJR2R.

Please let me know if you have any questions about evaluating applications or about this survey. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Caitlin
